Grievances and judicial review
Inmates can file grievances to challenge most correctional decisions. There are several levels a grievance may go through within the Correctional Service, depending on the decision being challenged. Grievances normally should be filed within 30 days of the decision being challenged.
Borys Law assists with drafting grievance submissions and judicially reviewing final level grievance denials. Judicial reviews must be filed in the Federal Court within 30 days of the final level grievance denial.
